Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website, scheduling services, or participating in clinical evaluations offered by Pet Housing Rights Telehealth Network, LLC ("Pet Housing Rights"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any portion of these terms, you must not use our platform.

2. Telehealth Platform Role & Clinician Independence

Pet Housing Rights provides technology, scheduling, and administrative infrastructure connecting patients with independent, board-licensed mental health professionals (LMHPs). Pet Housing Rights is not a clinical medical practice and does not directly practice medicine or psychology.

Independent Clinical Discretion: All diagnostic evaluations, assessments, and decisions to issue or decline an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) or Psychiatric Service Dog (PSD) recommendation letter are made solely by the licensed clinician in the exercise of their independent professional medical judgment. Pet Housing Rights has no influence over clinical decisions and does not guarantee qualification or letter approval.

3. No Guarantee of Legal Outcomes

While Pet Housing Rights letters are drafted in strict accordance with the Fair Housing Act, HUD guidelines, and the Americans with Disabilities Act, Pet Housing Rights does not provide legal representation. We do not guarantee specific legal outcomes, housing approvals, or dispute determinations by landlords, homeowners associations, or courts.

4. Client Truthfulness & Animal Behavior

You affirm that all information provided during intake questionnaires and telehealth consultations is truthful, complete, and accurate. You further certify that your animal does not have a history of aggressive behavior, unprovoked biting, or causing severe property damage.

5. Emergency Crisis Disclaimer

Pet Housing Rights is not an emergency psychiatric crisis provider. If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, self-harm impulses, or a severe medical emergency, please call 988 (the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or 911 immediately.

6. Governing Law & Arbitration

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from or relating to your use of the platform shall be settled through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
